Val Gardena/Grödnertal is a region that is ideally suited to cross-country skiing, offering perfect conditions for all skill levels on more than 133 km of prepared slopes. You can choose from a variety of routes during your vacations in Gardena/Gröden:

Alpe di Siusi: the eldorado for cross-country skiing

Monte Pana panorama trail:
A real cross-country paradise awaits on a sunny high plateau above Santa Cristina/St. Christina, with more than 30 km of slopes.
For demanding skiers we recommend the 7,5 km "Val Scura" ski run. For hobby cross-country skiers we recommend the 5,2 km "Palusc" ski run, which leads you up and down to the fantastic "Palusc" meadow.
Alpe di Siusi:
Europe's highest alp is easy to reach by cable car from Ortisei, and features more than 80 km of superb tracks.
Regardless of the level of the individual cross-country skier, everyone can enjoy a fantastic view and slopes of all levels.
"Nordic Aktiv Park" in Vallunga:
In the Nordic sports center you will find excellent conditions all year round. In summer, the resort is popular for activities such as Nordic Walking, and in winter you can use your cross-country skis on 12 km of well-groomed slopes.
